PNS BABUR COMPLETES TRAINING JOINTLY CONDUCTED BY TURKISH AND PAKISTAN NAVIES AT GOLCUK, TURKIYE
The newly constructed #PakistanNavy Ship BABUR successfully completed crew training at #GOLCUK #NavalBase, #Türkiye. The training was jointly conducted by #TurkishNavalForces Surface Training Center Command (#YILDIZLAR) and Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) of #PakNavy.
The first ever training of #PNSBABUR was aimed at training ship’s crew to undertake various #NavalOperations and to enhance interoperability and further strengthen bilateral relations between the two navies. During the training, Commander of Golcuk Naval base Rear Admiral Ali Tuna Baysal, CSO to Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Baran, Commanding Officer of #Istanbul #NavalShipyard Rear Admiral Erdinic Yetkin visited PNS BABUR and appreciated the operational and training standards of #Pakistan #Navy.
The Joint crew training conducted at GOLCUK Naval Base, Türkiye proved mutually beneficial whilst cementing the existing bond between Pakistan Navy and #Turkish #NavalForces in particular and between the two countries in general. Upon successful completion of crew training, PNS BABUR was sent off from #Golcuk Naval Base. While crossing the çanakkale straits; Ship also paid homage to the #martyrs of WW-I as per Turkish Traditions.
PNS BABUR is the 1st of the 4 PN MILGEM Ships being constructed simultaneously at Istanbul Naval Shipyard and #Karachi Shipyard and Engineering works.
