Second Ship of Pakistan Navy PNS MOAWIN sailed for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) mission to Turkiye and Syria. The HADR mission is aimed to provide support from people of Pakistan to the earthquake affectees of brotherly countries. The ship is carrying more than 500 tons relief goods which include winterized tents, blankets, warm cloths, generators, medicines and dry ration packs for delivery at Mersin and Lattakia ports of Turkiye and Syria respectively.
The ship was seen-off by , Chairman NDMA, Consul General Republic of Turkiye in Karachi and Commander Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi.
Earlier, Pakistan Navy ship NASR carrying relief goods weighing 1000 tons set sails on 28 Feb and is presently enroute to Syria and Turkiye. Pakistan Navy regularly undertakes international HADR missions abroad in line with the policies of Government of Pakistan to support friendly countries during times of natural calamities.
