What if you are not able to give back to your community as much as that other person? What if the most you are able to do is less? Does that make you less important than the other?
Imam Malik stated in a letter that Allah (swt) has distributed the abilities of the people to do good deeds the same way as he has distributed the provisions for the people. It is very rare that more than one door will open for a person. We should each look at our place and our ability and the needs of our community at that time.
