A major development for all government employees in Pakistan!
The government has introduced several key changes that could completely reshape the future of millions of employees including retirement age, allowances, and the new golden handshake scheme.

According to inside sources, the government is considering raising the retirement age from 60 to 62 years, allowing employees two extra years in service. Officials claim this move will temporarily reduce the pension burden while offering more stability to employees nearing retirement.

In addition, a massive 85% increase in rent allowance has been approved for employees who do not receive government housing. This decision aims to help workers cope with the rising cost of living under inflation.

The Golden Handshake Scheme 2025 targets employees from departments being dissolved, privatized, or transferred to provincial control giving them an honorable early retirement with financial benefits.

Meanwhile, the October 14 protest has been postponed due to security concerns. It will now be held on November 4, where employees will demand:
