• History of Pakistan Submarines:
In 1963 Pakistan first submarine was leased from the United States by the Pakistani Navy. The first name of PNS Ghazi (S–130) was USS Diablo (SS-479) reporting name is PNS Ghazi, was a Tench-class diesel-electric US technology submarine, Ghazi officially began serving the Pakistani Navy from 1964. In 1969 the Pakistan Navy acquired three Daphne class submarines technology from France. After the PNS Ghazi in the 1971 the Pakistan Navy purchased a used Daphne class vessel from Portugal in 1975. in 1978, the Pakistan acquired two latest Agosta70 class submarines that were originally intended for the South African Navy. In 1994, Pakistan procured three Agosta-90B equipment boats for navy force from France's Naval Group SA. In 1988, Pakistan purchased the first technology of their three Cosmo-class MG110 miniature submarines from Italy.
The Pakistan Navy considered an additional Naval equipment technology purchase from DCNS, in 2001 but abandoned it due to budgetary constraints. These vessels were intended to replace the SX404 mini-submarines with Pns Ghazi. The Cosmo-class mini Pakistani submarines are equipped for mine laying, coastal defense, and for the special forces operation.
• Pakistan naval technology Submarine Capability's:
Pakistan Navy have total 13 active submarines' and in another Pak Navy equipment's are 5 frigates available, 4 midget submarine's 2 destroyers available and 4 are on order, 2 Corvettes are active and 4 on Order, 8 Fast Attack Crafts are available, 10 - Patrol Vessels are active high-speed boats are active in Pakistan Naval command, Replenishment ships are active in Pakistani Navy squad, Research & Survey vessels are available for Spying in sea, Mine countermeasure vessels are in hand of Navy force, 2 Support ships are active for Navy emergency operations. for new Pakistan Navy soldier 1 Training vessels is available for defence of Pakistan.
