پنڈورا پیپرز میں 700 سے زائد پاکستانیوں کی آف شور کمپنیاں سامنے آگئیں۔
پنڈورا پیپرز میں وزیرخزانہ شوکت ترین، وفاقی وزیرمونس الٰہی اور سینیٹر فیصل واؤڈا کی آف شور کمپنیاں سامنے آئیں۔ ان کےعلاوہ آئی سی آئی جے کی تحقیقات میں پنجاب کےسابق وزیرعبدالعلیم خان،مسلم لیگ ن کے رہنما اسحاق ڈار کے بیٹے، پیپلز پارٹی کے شرجیل میمن اور وفاقی وزیرصنعت خسرو بختیار کی اہل خانہ کی آف شور کمپنیاں بھی پنڈورا پیپرزمیں سامنےآئی ہیں۔
آف شور کمیپنیز بنانے والوں میں وزیراعظم کےسابق معاون خصوصی وقار مسعود کے بیٹے، ایگزیکٹ کےمالک شعیب شیخ، ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران، میڈیا ہاؤسز مالکان، بینکرز و کاروباری حضرات بھی شامل ہیں۔
وفاقی وزیرصنعت خسرو بختیار کے بھائی عمر بختیار نے 2018 میں ایک آف شور کمپنی کے ذریعے لندن کے علاقے چیلسی میں 1 ملین ڈالر کا اپارٹمنٹ اپنی والدہ کو منتقل کیا تھا۔
آئی سی آئی جے کی رپورٹ کے مطابق معروف کاروباری شخصیت اور پی ٹی آئی کے ڈونر طارق شفیع نے آف شور کمپنیوں کے ذریعے 215 ملین ڈالر خردبرد کیے۔
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan, one of the 700 Pakistanis named in the Pandora Papers for owning offshore companies, said Sunday night he has nothing to hide.
“This company was declared in all my assets declarations in FBR and election commission for [the] last 15 years,” he tweeted. “Every time a new dhamaka leak comes, my single company (Hexam) is flashed as a new discovery.”
