He received his education at Government High School in Lahore and later pursued a degree in civil engineering from Thomason College of Civil Engineering in Roorkee (now the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee).

Civil Engineering and Contributions: Sir Ganga Ram was a highly accomplished civil engineer. He played a crucial role in the development of infrastructure in the Punjab region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His projects included the construction of canals, bridges, roads, and buildings that contributed to the region's development and economic growth.
