At the United Nations, Pakistan strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities in Gaza and endorsed a UN report describing Israel’s actions as a regime of “settler-colonial apartheid” in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT).

The statement was delivered by Mr. Gul Qaiser Sarwani, Counsellor and Political Coordinator at the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN, during a session on the report of Ms. Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
