ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi, on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day (August 14, 2021) has conferred 126 civil awards on citizens of Pakistan as well as foreign nationals for showing excellence and courage in their respective fields.

The names and categories of the civil awards included Nishan-i-Imtiaz (03); Hilal-i-Pakistan (02); Hilal-i-Imtiaz (06); Sitara-i-Pakistan (04); Sitara-i-Shujaat (03); Sitara-i-Imtiaz (17); President’s Award for Pride of Performance (39); Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam (03); Tamgha-i-Shujaat (17); Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (31); and Tamgha-i-Quaid-i-Azam (01)
