ECP gives approval for daily hearing of PTI foreign funding case
ISLAMABAD: The Chief Election Commissioner on Wednesday gave the go-ahead for a daily hearing of the foreign funding case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Opposition’s Rahbar Committee on Wednesday had demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) conduct a daily hearing of the case before the chief election commissioner completes his tenure next month.

According to Geo News, Chief Election Commissioner Justice (R) Sardar Raza and member Election Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved the request by the Rahbar Committee.

Sources said the ECP has directed the scrutiny committee to wrap up the foreign funding case as early as possible.
