A grand mosque is being constructed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in cooperation with the Kuwait government. The construction will cost seven million pounds. The mosque is estimated to take two more years to complete. Imam of the largest mosque of Kuwait, Shaikh Khalid, came to Sheffield to lead Taraweeh prayer. “The doors of the mosque are open for all,” said the organizing committee of the mosque. The Kuwaiti imam said the Muslim Ummah should demonstrate unity at this critical time.
