The Christian community organized an Iftar dinner in Sharjah’s St. Michael’s Catholic Church in collaboration with the government. “The purpose to arrange the event is to express our solidarity and gratitude towards the rulers of this country,” a priest told Geo News. Participants lauded the spirit of interfaith harmony during the event. A representative of the government of Sharjah said people can live in peace despite hailing from different religions.
