An Iftar dinner was organized at the Madni Islamic Center in Barcelona by a social leader Zaheer Ahmed. A lot of people from the Pakistan, Moroccan and other communities attended the event. “Fasting teaches piety and self-accountability,” said a religious scholar. “We are living in a non-Muslim society. Hence, we should prove with our character that the Muslims are peaceful people,” said a member of the Pakistani community.
