The Supreme Court registrar returned the federal government's plea to challenge the judges in the Audio Leaks Commission case.
The federal government had objected to the bench constituted on the petitions filed against the Audio Leaks Commission, in which the petition was filed on behalf of the government against the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar.
The federal government had requested that the Chief Justice, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar should not listen to the audio leak.
The registrar of the Supreme Court objected to the federal government's application and returned it and directed that the application should be made in open court.
