Discussion on Current Political and Economic Situation:district and sessions court suspended on Tuesday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's arrest warrant issued against him in the case regarding his controversial remarks against a female judge during a rally in Islamabad till March 16,Khan skipped the hearing and filed an exemption plea from physically appearing before the judge, requesting permission for joining the court proceedings virtually via video link.Political worker Ali Bilal, aka Zille Shah, a diehard Imran Khan supporter, has been killed, his broken, tormented body abandoned at the Services Hospital in Lahore. The preliminary post-mortem report shows more ‘blunt force trauma’ injuries than one can count, and even then his family has no hope of getting justice.


The provincial government on Wednesday imposed Section 144 in Lahore, banning public gatherings ahead of PTI’s rally.

The Home Department said, “it has been observed that number of rallies and protests are held therein on daily basis at different places of District Lahore, which not only pose serious security threats but also disrupt traffic and cause inconvenience to public at large.”
