FIA on Wednesday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Punjab Nazir Chohan, a day after court ordered his release on bail in another case.

According to details, Nazir Chohan, who is part of Jahangir Tareen group, has been detained for sharing a post on social media against Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar.

A day earlier, a court in Lahore on Tuesday approved bail of PTI MPA Nazir Chohan, who was arrested on the same day in a case over the complaint of Shahzad Akbar.

The case against Nazir Chohan was been filed at Lahore’s Race Course Police Station under Sections 506, 258, 189 and 153. The complainant maintained that the accused leveled baseless allegations against him in a TV program.
