Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that talks would be held with those who accept the constitution of Pakistan. This was stated by the Prime Minister while chairing a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Parliamentary Party, which discussed security situation and other national issues. The members of National Assembly and Senate belonging to PML-N attended the meeting. While talking in the meeting of PML-N Parliamentary Party, the PM termed those elements as "enemy of the country and Islam" who are launching attacks on the armed forces and the civilians. Elements attacking security forces and civilians are our enemies, he added. Nawaz Sharif said that government is ready for dialogue process but only with those who accept country's constitution. "Without eliminating terrorism and extremism‚ Pakistan cannot progress. We have to save the future of our nation," he added. He said security personnel are sacrificing their lives in the war against terrorism, adding that their sacrifices will not go waste. He said it is necessary to seek the opinion of members of the Parliament on dialogue with Taliban. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to announce some important decisions at the floor of the National Assembly later on today about whether the federal government intends to talk with the Taliban or launch a military operation against them. A unanimous resolution on taking firm action against terrorism is also likely to be adopted by the National Assembly today, sources added.
