Abstract

This study is conducted to find out determinants of youth participation in politics. Pakistani youth is going through the process of phase of change including the overwhelming conditions of the unemployment, deprivation radicalism resulting into the frustration and depression. Hence the youth is prone towards the politics as they look for the solution of the problems in the changing of the whole structure of the society the present study wants to examine determinants of youth participation in politics. The researcher used questionnaire in the present research. The universe/population of the present study comprise of all the students of Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. To satisfy the motivation behind this examination work, analyst attempted to take perspectives on the present study with respect to governmental issues. An example of 160 was chosen by utilizing straightforward arbitrary inspecting. After the preparing of coding the information was entered and broke down with the assistance of factual bundle for sociology (SPSS). After the examining T test was applied. The finding of the study is that youth do take interest in politics but their opinion about political parties is negative. They think that politicians are corrupt. They believe that government officials are not inspired by their suppositions and a large portion of the ideological groups are degenerate.
