Abstract

Andalusians contributed a lot in explaining, elucidating and interpreting the Arabic literature and books. They expounded and translated the poetic and prose literature of Abul Al-alaa Al-ma,arri,  Al-buhturi and Al-mutanabbi. The book of Mulqa Al-sabil by Abu Al-alaa Al-ma,arri was not addressed by any commentator before Ibn Al-sid Al-batalyawsi. He explained and analyzed the message of Abu Al-alaa Al-ma,arri in a true letter and spirit. In fact, he was one of the greatest philosophers, poets and writers. He was the pessimistic, freethinker and traditional rationalist of his time. The method used in this research is descriptive, qualitative and analytical. Some patterns and samples are also included in this paper of his book.
