Abstract

Bushra Muhammad Abu Sharar, the famous Palestinian writer and novelist, wrote her novel "Dora" longing for her homeland, Palestine, when she resided in Alexandria. These circumstances caused her to migrate in order to protect herself and her family by leaving her home, belongings, relatives, and homeland, so what can her feelings and we express about her! Indeed, no one can describe that except for those who lived through these events.
Strangers living in a big city and the capital (Cairo) coming from their places of living that were made up of villages and rural areas, but they are living in conflict in the city that is foreign to them, or we read about old people who yearn for earlier stages in which they lived. The same is the case with Dora's novel, which we will talk about in this article.
