Abstract

The ultimate objective of teaching a language is that learners should be capable to listen, speak, read and write the target language effectively and apply it easily in their daily life . This article addresses the basic skills listening and speaking of Urdu language, from beginner to elementary level. The researcher has tried to cover all the necessary dimensions in the light of available literature and materiel on the topic and on the basis of his own knowledge and experience.
