Abstract

Siraj ud Din Panipati was basically a poet but has an importance of being the father of Karimuddin Panipati and Imaduddin Panipati, the prominent writers of Urdu. There are some works associated to Sirajuddin also, wich wer composed in Urdu poetic meter. The basic reason to write abut him is to present  the facts came to me by a rare autobiography "Waqeyat-e-Amadia" published in 1873. Though this rare work it became possible to dispell some misconceptions that still exist in Urdu literature. This article is a small attempt towards some fact  findings abut prominent Urdu biographer Maulvi Karimuddin Panipati also.
