Abstract

This article aimed to explore the role of determinants of democratization in Pakistan’s political parties. The determinants of democratization in political parties, institutionalization, inclusiveness, and decentralization were analyzed in this study. The political parties’ workers and scholars (520) were selected through multi-stage sampling techniques all over the country. through multi-stage sampling technique. This study revealed that determinants of democratization were correlated with each other and the lack of democratization in political parties (82 percent). There was partial mediation of leadership between determinants of democratization and the level of democratization in Pakistan. All control variables had no impact on the opinions of respondents except, Age and education.
