Abstract

The religious literary, journalistic and historical contributions of Allama G.M.Qasmi are well known to all. His scholarly knowledge is not only recognized in Sindh/Pakistan but is recognized all over the Muslim World. He has translated various books of Shah Walli-ul-Lah in Sindhi Language and many books from Sindhi to Arabic Language. He has also worked on the tefseer and the Holy Quran by Makhdoom Nooh Sarwar (R.A.) He had a great number of Ph.D and M.Phil students at his great. The work done by Allama Qasmi is the field of Journalism has no parallel among his contemporaries. Many books of Sindhi Adabi Board Jamshoro Quarterly magazine were also published under his guidance. Besides, he performed the duties of editor of “New Sindh” news paper at Karachi in the famous journal of Shah Wal-ul-Lah Academy, Al- Rahim, Alwali, and Al-Hikma in Sindhi Urdu and English were also published under his editorship for of many decades.
