Mirza Athar Baig is a Pakistani novelist, short story and play writer. He served the Department of Philosophy, Government College University, Lahore. His fictions are considered to be the central works of literature in Urdu language. Sifar Say Aik Tak novel has been quite popular in Pakistan and critically acclaimed. This is a fine product of post-modern literature. He has admirably turned computer's wonders into an effective fiction. This is the story of clerk of cyberspace named Zaki, whose father and forefathers have been in the servile service of Salars the traditional feudals. Faizan, lecturer of history, belongs to Salar's family. Zaki helps him in uploading relevant materials. It is a non-traditional novel based on a study of a deeper power structures of Pakistani society in 20th century.
