Abstract

My association with JPMA has largely been one of a reviewer of papers submitted for publication, but much more than that I have always been a reader of this journal for its scientific content. JPMA is the oldest medical journal of Pakistan with international circulation. I still remember my excitement at discovering a current JPMA copy on the shelves of Hammersmith Hospital Library some 20 years ago.
Kudos to the managing editors and staff that with skeletal logistic and financial support. The journal has maintained its regular circulation. It is a very useful source of local scientific research endeavour and is even easier to access in view of its availability on the internet.
