"Qaid": Superstition and Exploitation Scenario
"Qaid" is one of the important novels of Abdullah Hussain, although less discussed by his critics. In this short novel Abdullah Hussain has portrayed the scenario of superstition of the poor and illiterate people of society and their exploitation by religious and political masters. Especially the cruel, horrible and nauseous face of fake spiritual leaders is exposed. In the present article the researcher has critically discussed the novel in this context.
