The Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) journal “New Horizons” is a scholarly peer-reviewed biannual fully refereed national journal focusing on innovative concepts, original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. It is an open access journal that publishes research articles in the areas of the Electrical Power Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer and Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. The core vision of IEEEP New Horizons journal is to serve as platform for innovativeness in the broad domain of Electrical Engineering and information technology. Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan is constantly striving for its primary objective of dissemination of technical knowledge. IEEEP Board of publications leads the publication of IEEEP New Horizons (the research journal of IEEEP), AGM / Annual Report and The Engineer (monthly magazine) to promote technical knowledge and is distributed free of cost among our members and prominent libraries of the country. IEEEP journal has been published since 1971 and to date 102 volumes have been published. It was renamed as IEEEP New Horizon and has maintained its status of recognition of HEC “Y” category journal till 2014. With its new vision to become a national high reputed journal, it is steered by scholars of the International repute and Pakistan’s main stream Engineering & Technological universities as editorial and advisory board. In addition, there is a good number of experts from abroad are also serving on its editorial and advisory board to ensure manuscripts are handled experts in the field of study. Editorial board has recently inducted Open Source System (OJS), an open source solution for the management and publishing of the Journal on line. This would not only enhance reader’s experience but would also serve the authors. This would enable them to submit, revise, edit, proofread their articles on line
