Abstract

The Evolution Of Punjab Archives
The Punjab government archives were established in 1924.It is the biggest and oldest archive in pakistan both in quality and quantity. it is. necessary to recall the extra-ordinary and often unique reference value of the documentary, materials held by Punjab itself from the late eighteenth century to the present. These historical records are of immense assistance for the reseach scholars as well as students who are in pursuit of masters, M.Phil and Ph.d etc. This article is an over-view on evolution of Punjab archieves.
