The researcher is an expert on Terminology and Translation. His doctoral dissertation was on "Urdu Terminology (A Critical Review)". After 20 years he is revisiting his thesis and found some new aspects on international scenario. In this paper he added new point to develop Urdu Terminology Semantics in Urdu is more inductive and extensive than English. The crux of the paper is this that terminology is a different way from lexicography. It depends upon convention and not on translation. Equivalents of any term be defined respectively for every field/ discipline and usage. So this may take hundreds of pages for a single entry. This volume of work can not be managed or handled in paper dictionaries rather a database/website that involves a huge budget. If we only translate the work/collection of English terms in European Union (IATE), we can get 23 European languages in addition free of cost, but who will bear the initial cost, i.e. too big. So we must leave this stone unturned.
