The undefined frontiers in Central Asia have long been a source of conflict. There is a lengthy and complicated history of the Tajik-Kyrgyz war. Despite being about 1000 km long, only about half of the border between the two states has been marked since 1991. This article explains the reasons for the war between two former Soviet Socialist States. And the role of Russia in this scenario. Also, this research will come up with some policy suggestions to resolve this border dispute between two neighboring states.
