Abstract

<jats:p>The current research provides an analytical study on the domestic and international arbitration and the application of foreign arbitral awards in Pakistan. The research explains the international arbitration, how it operates, its processes, rulings, and execution as per the domestic arbitration mechanism existing in Pakistan. The study further identifies the flaws that render it impossible to cope with fundamental factors such as the application of foreign arbitral awards at the domestic level as per international practice. The current research adopts analytical and descriptive approaches for interpreting and analyzing the data. Literature reviews for this research consist of relevant statutes, treaties, international Conventions, governing rules and regulations, case laws, legal authorities and have been explored as primary sources. Furthermore, international referred journals, research articles, journal magazines, online databases, dictionaries, law reviews are also acknowledged as secondary sources for this research.</jats:p>
