Khyber Journal of Medical Sciences (KJMS) is the official journal of Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar Pakistan having 3078-9648 as the online ISSN number and 2079-8547 as the print ISSN. It was established in 2010. It is an open access, peer review journal published quarterly, recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan (in Category Y) and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), Pakistan (Index Pakistan: IP/0055). It publishes original qualitative and quantitative research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, editorials, case reports, commentaries, letter to the editors, audit reports and short communication related to all fields of Medical Sciences. The Journal has an effective system of online article submission overseen by the editorial team. KJMS follows guideline provided by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The KJMS aims to promote high quality local and global research in medical and allied sciences in the fields of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation in areas of priority. KJMS aspires to empower local and global researchers to disseminate their scholarly work by providing an innovative platform.
