Abstract

On the request of Ms. Hoor Shumail, principal author, the Editor has retracted the research article entitled “Analysis of biorisk management practices in clinical & research laboratories in major cities of KP Province, Pakistan”. Which was published in the September-2020, Pure Appl. Biol., 9(3): 2082-2087, http://dx.doi.org/10.19045/bspab.2020.90222.”
The reason for the retraction was based on the violation of the PAB Publication Ethics Statement by the authors. The authors were also banned for submission and publication in the PAB for three years.

This email is concerning about our paper “Analysis of biorisk management practices in clinical & research laboratories in major cities of KP Province, Pakistan" in your journal that was submitted on 30/03/2020, was accepted on 1/06/2020 and was published on 15/06/2020. I request you to please retract the paper for the reason stated below.
The paper was developed with collaboration from different colleagues and their contributions. As part of their contributions, some of the colleagues were hoping to be on the author list, while we were not aware of their expectations. We cannot deny that they helped us in data collection, but we did not include them in the author list, as we thought it's a favor from there side, which we had already acknowledged. We have realized that those colleagues were expecting to be co-authors in the paper. Based this conflict of interest, we request you to please retract the article from your journal. We would be grateful for this act.
