Abstract

Stochastic stumpage price is estimated through regression analysis (with alternative autoregressive models) with data from the Iranian Caspian forests. The parameter estimates indicate that the stumpage price may be regarded as a stationary stochastic process. Stumpage prices in Iran and Sweden were compared. The results show that there is not any significant relation between stumpage prices in Iran and Sweden.
