Abstract

The Holy Qur’an is the last revealed book of Allah.It provides comprehensive guidance in all walks of life.The pagans of Makkah did not accept the challenge to make even a single Surah like it. Although The Qur’an was sent in Arabic language yet this language of Holy Qur’an was unique for Arabs.Mufridaat-al-Qur’an is a field of research in the whole world.This research paper clarifies different approaches regarding the understanding of Mufridaat.Moulana Altaf Ahmad Azmi wrote a Commentary of the Qur’an named Meezan-al-Qur’an.His principles of Tafseer are highlighted in this paper.Moreover,the contribution of Madrasah Farahi is also discussed.Characteristics of Meezan-al-Qur’an is the main focus.Through this research it becomes clear that the main source of Altaf Ahmad Azmi’s research was the approach of Moulana Hameed-ud-Din Farahi.The exegesis like Meezan-al-Qur’an help in minimizing the sectarianism in society.Hopefully this article will help in understanding the Holy Qur’an.
