The woman’s personality is delicate and filled with passion, love, selfishness, and possession. She performs different rules in her life. She is a mother, sister, beloved and a wife. She is the source of happiness for the man and her influence is not limited to a certain era, time, or place. She is the main source of man’s poetry. The same way we see that man’s personality is also main and important source in woman’s poetry. The influence of her poetry is evident as she attempts saying all sorts of poetry like man. She writes love poetry the same way as men poets write their love poetry. We find her admiring and showing her proudness in her poetry. She does not use harsh and bad words in her poetry. This sign is widely found in Andulsi literature especially in the poetry of Andalusian women poets. Andalusian woman poet is very daring and enjoys lot of freedom in her poetry. She proved herself that she is capable of creating some wonderful literature. This study is about image of man in Andalusian women’ poetry. Main purpose behind this study is to show various aspects of this poetry.
To examine the image of man as depicted in the poetry of female Andalusi poets and to showcase the various aspects of this poetry.
The study analyzes the poetry of Andalusian women poets to understand their portrayal of men.
