COVID-19 epidemic appeared as one of the most threatening health emergencies of modern times distressing people far and wide. Since the beginning of outbreak, COVID-19 not only exposed people at large to various physical but psychological vulnerabilities as well. Present study was planned to explore perceived social support, stress, anxiety and depression in general public in third wave of COVID-19 and to identify their significant correlates. A cross sectional study was conducted on a group of 384 young adults including both male (n=203) and female (n= 176) participants selected through convenience sampling technique. The responses were collected through different social networking sites using online survey forms comprising of demographic information, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale-21 and Oslo Social Support Scale-3 and. The average mean score of social score revealed moderate social support level. Stress mean scores indicated mild stress levels, depression mean score was in moderate severity range. The mean score on anxiety showed moderate severity. Higher social support observed to be related with low scores of psychological problems. Income, education, age and marital status showed to have significant correlations with social support and psychological problems. Psychological problems and social support were found to differ significantly across gender, family system and marital status.
