The authority of Khabar-e-Wahid

According to the number of Hadith narrators, there are two kinds of Hadith one, Khabar-e-Mutawarir, and the other Khabar-e-Wahid Khabar-e-Mutawatir is the Hadith whose narrators are in so great a number at every stage that their being in agreement with untruth is impossible. All other traditions fall under the purview of Khabar-e-Wahid. Khabar-e-Wahid being the reasoned evidence is acknowledged by the Muslim Ummah. Save and except the Mu'tazilites and deniers of hadith, all Imams and Muhaddiths, and Ulama and research scholars extract Shariah rules and regulations from Akhbar al-Ahaad
This article presents arguments from the Holy Quran on the evidential factor of Khabar-e-Wahid. It tells us that it was relied upon during the Prophetic period. The Rightly Guided Caliphs also relied thereupon. It was also acknowledged during the periods of the Companions and the Tabieen. And the four Imams also considered it worth relying upon.
