As for the Islamic System of Inheritance, it has been generally admitted that it guarantees a woman's share therein. But, at the same time it is usually said that it gives to a woman half of man's share. While it remains the fact that this is the result of not grasping the Islamic System of Inheritance, knowingly or unknowingly. It's not that a woman gets lesser than man in all the forms of distribution of inheritance. There are certain conditions in which a woman gets share in inheritance, while a man doesn't. In many conditions, a woman gets more in inheritance share than a man, and in some other conditions, she gets inheritance share equal to a man's. Only in some conditions, she gets less than a man does. The conditions in which she gets less than a man's share are due to her specific position in the Islamic System of Inheritance. She has not to spend money on anyone or anything, while a man has to provide maintenance for all the persons dependent on him. This article describes 44 conditions of distribution of inheritance, out of which a woman gets inheritance share in 9 conditions while a man doesn't get any share therein. In 14 conditions she gets more than a man while in 17 situations she gets equal to what a man gets. In only four conditions she gets inheritance share less than what a man does. This fact rejects the propaganda that in the Islamic System of Inheritance a woman gets half of what a man gets, in every condition.
