Emotional intelligence is a vital aspect of the teaching profession, as it enables educators to effectively manage their own emotions and those of their students, fostering a positive learning environment. The study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and mentor-student dynamics in the Pakistani educational system, which can contribute to developing more effective mentoring programs and enhancing the overall academic experience for students. The study employed a quantitative method, with a sample size of 251 teachers across the higher education institutes of Pakistan. Data was collected by using Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-I: Bar-on, 2006). For the present research 61items were used. They were scored on a Likert type format. Pearson correlation and regression were used to test the hypothesess of the study. The study concluded that the emotional quotient highly impacts the potential learning; as the mentor's emotional intelligence increases, the knowledge of the student increases.ÂÂ
