Abstract

The main objective of proposal of this topology is to get the output with reduced Harmonics and to improve the efficiency with reduced number of switches. Multi-Level Inverter (MLI) Performance has been evaluated for three different modulation technique Trapezoidal pulse width modulation (TPWM), Sinusoidal Pulse width modulation (SPWM), 1/6th Third order Harmonic injection technique (1/6th THIPWM). The parameters Total Harmonic distortion (THD), Efficiency, power utilisation is compared for all three techniques using MATLAB/Simulink and to identify the best suitable modulation technique.
