Abstract

This study proposed a framework for a typical Drowsiness Detection System (DDS) with a view of achieving a dynamic optimization of computer vision tasks for significant improved performance. The study used a parallel solution approach to split computational task in to a number of different functions which is handled by processors. Furthermore, algorithmic functions where prioritized in order to enable sequential processing of data and also specify the appropriate order to which task are executed. Parameter and criterions of evaluation were established so as to provide a comprehensive qualitative assessment of implemented techniques.
