Abstract

Qasim Ali khan is one of poet’s of classical period. He belongs to Village Akhor of Dara Adam Khel. His Grand Father migrated to Hind and spent his most of times in India in different places. He was born on 1183 in Farukh Abad of Uttar pardesh. Manuscript of his kulyat in which six books is in the library of Islamia College. One of these manuscripts “Urdu Deewan” has published and other five are still unpublished. In this article I will discuss about his Pashto Deewan in the light of subjective and objective study which are part of textual criticism. This study will show the history and environment, criticism, civilization of that time and internal and external evidence about manuscripts. This study also deals with the linguistics study of his poetry that is word formation and grammatical use of sentence.
