Abstract

Educational system of Prophet Muhammad SAW is applicable in present era.  It has emphasized on basic role of teachers. This article primarily aimed to describe educational and research-based responsibilities of teachers.  In order to meet the challenges of present era, apart from imparting knowledge, they will have to create research-oriented mind in the students. It is need of the hour to carry on researches on social issues. In addition to this, role of successful teacher in perspective of Pakistan have been discussed in comprehensive manners.  Prophet Muhammad SAW used to present Himself as role model for His followers in all aspects. It is prime duty of teacher to guide students from selection of the topic and till completion of research project.  It is also responsibility of teacher to keep research work free from any sort of plagiarism and ask student not to violate research ethics.
