Abstract

Hafiz Abdul Sattar Hammad, a prominent figure in the field of Hadith science, dedicated his prime years to teaching and disseminating knowledge. Through various forms of literary contributions, including commentary, sharing, translation, exegesis, editing, and research, he significantly enriched the field. His extensive body of work serves as a crucial source for scholars and enthusiasts alike. In Islam, the Qur'an and Hadith are fundamental sources, with the latter serving as a definitive proof akin to the Holy Quran, grounded in divine revelation. The preservation of Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ hadiths has been a continuous effort by scholars across various periods, starting with the Prophet's era and flourishing during the time of the Companions and followers. The era of Muhadditheen saw a proliferation of Imams compiling extensive collections of hadiths, which, while invaluable, presented challenges for accessibility to the general audience. Recognizing this need, numerous scholars, including Hafiz Abdul Sattar Hammad, have undertaken the task of condensing and simplifying these collections for the benefit of the broader Muslim community.
