Madrassa plays a vital role in religious education of Pakistan. However the changing technological advancement has created lot of economical challenges to Madrassa graduates. Majority of the graduates are living below poverty line. Most of the poor families don’t afford the expenditures of modern education; so they prefer to send their children to religious institutions; where they study free of cost and dormitories with food are being provided by the Madrassa administration. After graduating, they don’t adjust in the job markets. In the light of above economical challenges the research explores the economical challenges and job opportunities to the Madrassa graduates. Matiari includes approximately 50 Madrassa. 200 samples of Madrassa graduates who passed their degrees were randomly selected from different Madrassa of district Matiari. From the data obtained through questionnaire, it was summarized that the majority of Madrassa graduates get their jobs as supervision of Mosques, in Madrassa as teachers or inherited business or elsewhere in private firm as labourer. Their salaries are not sufficient to meet the daily basis needs of their family. Study evaluated the curriculum of Madrassa and found a gap of non religious subjects, technology and lack of interest of Government in Madrassa institutions. They are working on self basis. Study highlighted the economical crisis of graduates and suggests that these graduates should provide scholarships by the government and their degree should be recognized so that the quality of life of graduates might improve. Study further suggests that the vocational training sessions should be provided to the Madrassa graduates; so that they can easily adjust themselves in job markets.
