Historical Background: Wolff — Parkinson — White (WPW) syndrome was first reported clinicaly in 1930 J. Wolff and J Parkinson in Europe and by P. White in united states (Wolffetal 1930). The mechanisim of preexcitation and artrio ventricular(AV) conduction via accessory pathway in addition to the normal atrioventricular node was proved electrophysiologically by durrer and Ross(1967). The types / classification and location of the accessory by pass tract was classified as 1) Left lateral, 2) Left anterior, 3) Left Posterior, 4) Left posterio lateral, 5) Right Anterior, 6) Right Lateral, 7) Right posterio Lateral, 8) Right Posterior, 9) Posterior septum, 10) Anterior Septum, 11) Mid Septum and parahisian areal- The common location were left free wall, Right free wall, Posterior septa!, and anterio mid septa12,4. Rosembaum, etal were the first to separate WPW Syndrome according to the localiza-tion of the by pass tract in to type A, a left by pass tract in which the QRS complex is dominantly upright in the right paricardial leads, and type B, a right by pass tract in which the QRS complex is dominantly downwards.
