Abstract

The third issue of Pakistan Journal of Chest Medicine comes to you with the sad news about the untimely demise of Professor M.U. Islam of Dow Medical College and a member of our editorial board. Proff. M.U. Islam was a noble person entirely devoted to his porfession and despite of his ill health which he had through the agony of Hepatitis B, couple of years back, ending up ultimately in a fatal hepatoma, never was inactive.among his patients in the ward, was always smiling, sympathatic, kind hearted and generous.
