Abstract

This paper explores the issue of corporate accountability in environmental degradation from an international legal perspective, focusing on global sustainable practices. With increasing concerns about environmental sustainability and the growing influence of multinational corporations, this paper examines the role that international law plays in holding corporations accountable for their environmental impact. It discusses various legal frameworks, including international treaties, conventions, and national legislations, that aim to regulate corporate behavior and mitigate environmental harm. The analysis covers the effectiveness of these legal mechanisms in addressing issues such as pollution, deforestation, climate change, and biodiversity loss.
